AJ has worked in the treatment field for over 7 years as a Chemical Dependency Counselor’s Assistant. AJ comes to Cedar Oaks with a background in Community Behavioral Health.  She implements a trauma informed care approach while fostering an environment for safe healing. AJ has a passion for facilitating psychoeducation groups. Her goal is to equip clients with the necessary tools and coping strategies so long-term recovery can be achieved. AJ is dedicated to assisting clients with an individualized relapse prevention plan, identifying strengths and challenges, identifying healthy support systems and cheering each client on during their recovery journey. AJ enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
