Ensuring that your addiction treatment is covered by insurance is the first step toward getting the help you need for most clients and their families. Cedar Oaks Wellness Center accepts BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS) and most other health insurance plans to ensure that clients can get the care they need and aren’t held back by treatment costs.
Cedar Oaks Wellness Center is a Cincinnati drug and alcohol rehab center that accepts BCBS insurance. Contact us today to learn more about our Ohio addiction treatment options.
One of the things that sets our BCBS drug and alcohol rehab in Ohio apart from other treatment centers is that Cedar Oaks Wellness Center offers a full continuum of care. This means that we provide every possible care level, from medical detoxification and residential inpatient care to outpatient options and aftercare planning. Here are the main programs you’ll come across at Cedar Oaks Wellness Center. If you’re unsure which level of care is the right starting point for you, our admissions team will help.
Medical detoxification, frequently called “detox,” lets clients get off of drugs and alcohol in a safe environment with supportive medical staff. At times, withdrawals from drugs and alcohol can be dangerous. Many of our clients attend our medically supervised detox program as the first step of their treatment plan, depending on the nature and severity of their substance use.
Residential inpatient programs are the highest level of addiction treatment care. Many clients start with this level of care (or move to it after detox) because it allows them to eat, sleep, and live on campus with 24/7 access to medical staff, providing optimal safety, stability, and security. Our Blue Cross Blue Shield drug and alcohol rehab center has state-of-the-art facilities that give those in residential inpatient care a comfortable living space for the duration of their program. Inpatient programs involve a comprehensive range of therapies, supportive recreation activities, and treatments.
Partial hospitalization programs or PHP, also called partial day treatment, is one step down from residential inpatient treatment. In PHP, clients engage in all or most of the same therapies, treatments, and activities they would in residential inpatient treatment but with increased flexibility and the ability to live off-campus. Some clients start with PHP or another less intensive outpatient program, but others transition into this level of care after attending a residential inpatient program.
PHP can be ideal for those who must work or tend to other obligations (e.g., taking care of your family) while in treatment. Clients in PHP at Cedar Oaks Wellness Center attend treatment during the week and have weekends off.
Aftercare and relapse prevention planning are critical parts of treatment. In our treatment programs, clients work with staff to make an aftercare plan, which may include a number of different services. For example, continued therapy, support meetings, and continued connection with Cedar Oaks Wellness Center through our alumni program. We can give you referrals to therapists and other medical or mental health providers that you can work with after treatment.
Everyone needs a support system, and staying connected to yours can be a game-changer when it comes to addiction treatment. Once you finish your treatment program at Cedar Oaks, we’re here for you for the rest of your life no matter where you are.
