Daniel is a clinician and social work student with a strong commitment to ethical, person-centered care in the treatment of substance use and behavioral health concerns. He has been working in the field since 2019 and brings both clinical experience and systems-level awareness to his work with individuals, families, and communities.
He is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and Social Work Assistant, with a specialized gambling endorsement to treat problem gambling, which is an area he is particularly passionate about. His clinical interests include substance use disorders, co-occurring behavioral health concerns, and the often-overlooked impacts of problem gambling on individuals and families. Daniel approaches his work with an emphasis on trust, collaboration, and meeting clients where they are in their recovery journey.
In addition to his clinical work, Daniel serves as Communications Chair for the Problem Gambling Coalition of Southwest Ohio, where he supports community education, advocacy efforts, and regional outreach aimed at reducing stigma and expanding access to responsible gambling resources. He is currently a senior social work student at The Ohio State University and is dedicated to integrating clinical practice with advocacy, prevention, and community-based solutions.
