Carmela Byus MEd, LPC, LICDC

Carmela Byus MEd, LPC, LICDC received her Master’s of Education in Counseling and Human Development at Lindsey Wilson College, and a Bachelor’s in Substance Abuse Counseling. I have been working in the field since 2012, with experience in outpatient, residential, hospital, criminal justice settings over the course of her career.  I have a heart to empower others where they are to recognize their own worth, strength, purpose and meaning to improve life satisfaction.   I use an integrative approach to focus on a client’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual well-being.   My treatment approach focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma informed care, Dialectical Behavioral skills, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused therapy.
