Emad Alshami MD

Dr. Emad Alshami is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist who has called the Cincinnati area home since 2006. In addition to his private practice in West Chester, Dr. Alshami has served as Medical Director in a variety of inpatient and outpatient facilities. He comes to Cedar Oaks with a strong background in treating persons with substance use and dual diagnosis disorders as well as in Medication-Assisted Therapy.

A graduate of Wake Forest University, Dr. Alshami has been recognized as one of the Top Psychiatrists in the region by Cincinnati Magazine for the past five years. Dr. Alshami’s approach to treatment is based on compassion, empathy, and a high ethical standard of care. He is constantly inspiring his clients to become the best they can be!

Dr. Alshami resides in West Chester, Ohio, and enjoys cooking and gardening, and spending time with his wife and four children.
